Main Hall

Our adaptable 142m² hall is approximately 9m x 15m, with capacity for up to 150 standing or 100 seated. The sprung floor suits parties, dance, fitness and community events, with tables and chairs available.

Built-in lighting and sound are available, along with a projector and large screen, making the hall a flexible space for celebrations, presentations, performances and regular activities.

Meeting Room

A calm boardroom-style space seating up to 16 people, ideal for meetings, interviews, planning sessions and small workshops.

A projector and screen support presentations and training sessions.

Games Room

A fun, high-energy games room packed with entertainment for children, teenagers and group celebrations. The space includes a 6 screen console wall, racing simulator, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and air hockey table.

Kitchen

Kitchen with oven and hob, serving hatch, crockery and utensils available if required.

Bistro Area & Garden

A relaxed bistro area and garden provide additional space alongside room hire.

Pricing

The community centre is available to hire for single or regular use. It is popular for parties and can book up quickly.

Parties and other single bookings can add kitchen access for food preparation (not cooking), drinks, or the staffed bar service.

The venue is completely wheelchair accessible and all on one floor.

Regular customer discounts

  • 10% discount: available to regular customers who book between 5 and 10 sessions.
  • 20% discount: available to regular customers who book more than 11 sessions.

Note: new regular customers will have the discount applied to their account once their booking has been confirmed.

Important Booking Information

  • For private single bookings that finish after 10:00pm, only the hall hire hours after 10:00pm are charged at £40.00 per hour.
  • Finishing after 10:00pm is subject to management approval and must be requested by email to [email protected].

Use the Lemon Booking calendar and choose a date to view availability.

2 Start your booking

Clicking a date begins the booking request and opens the details you need to complete.

3 Receive confirmation

Your booking is confirmed separately after the centre reviews the request.

Venue hire FAQs

Yes. A trustee or volunteer will be there to open the centre at the start of your booking. Please make sure your booking allows enough time to set up before your event begins.

Yes. We have 10 tables and around 60 chairs, which you are welcome to use. Please return them to the storeroom after use.

Yes. The hall has an audio system that can be connected to by Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm audio cable. A cable is not provided. Please ask for instructions when you arrive.

We have hosted a variety of bouncy castles in the hall. The hall roof is approximately 15 feet high, although most hirers use a standard-sized castle. The supplier must have appropriate insurance and provide mats and sandbags to secure it safely.

Yes. Kitchen use can be added to your booking for £12. Please arrange this before your event. The kitchen must be left as you found it.

Yes. Garden use can be added to your booking. Please arrange this before your event.

Parking is available behind the community centre outside school hours. This car park belongs to the school, so please do not use it while the school is open.

There is also a large car park on the other side of the Co-op. The time limit shown on the signs applies only to the spaces directly outside the shop; the other spaces do not have that limit.
