Picket Twenty Community Association are so excited to announce the launch of our Warm hub in December 2025.
Thanks to a very generous grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, we have been able to open up our centre to our community Monday – Friday 9am – 12pm. Here, we serve fruit, pastries, breakfast bars and hot and cold drinks completely free. We also have a warm and welcoming space to socialise, meet new people and just have 5 minutes to yourself. This hub has already been a lifeline to many people needing support. We are also very fortunate that we are able to signpost people in need, to services who can help.
Throughout the year, the hub will adapt to include ice pops and cold drinks in the warmer months, and incorporate our winter coat exchange as it starts to get colder. We also have visits from external agencies to come in and offer advice on finances, employment, healthy living and much more!
Our warm hub is an inclusive and friendly space, designed to encourage connections, build friendships and be a central hub for support.
No booking required, just come along and help yourself!
