There is nothing better than celebrating a huge anniversary in history surrounded by our community!
Our 80th anniversary VE day community event was an amazing day full of music, food and remembrance.
We were joined by the fabulous Covergirlz, belting out some vintage tunes. Mary Poppins herself even stopped by to say hello!
Children enjoyed craft activities, alongside learning more about VE Day and why we celebrate. Our volunteers had the best day serving the community some delicious BBQ food. Our bouncy castle was popular with the little ones, as was the cupcake decorating!
A really lovely day, connecting with friends and neighbours.
